* Once you learn how to train the basics, any vehicle, dry land or snow can be utilized in the recreational sport of Mushing.
* We start from the Harness, covering all of the equipment and teach all of the commands to Hike, Whoa, Gee, Haw, On By and more. We train single dog, double dog and multiple dog teams.
* The class is held only at our Saginaw location for 1-hour each Tuesday for 4-weeks, costing just $80 for the entire course.

No hill required! Learn all the aspects of this fun winter sport. SkiJor teams can consist of one dog or two if you are brave!

Mushing 101 includes instruction of all the basic equipment used for ANY of the mushing sports Learn how to train a lead dog the commands necessary to go, stop and make turns. We cover the standard sled components, gang lines and harness
If you have multiple dogs, this segment of the class is for you! We teach you what equipment to use, how to use it, and how to train your team to work together. After Mushing 101, you will be able to move on to recreational or competitive sled racing.
